The Emphasis of this class will be on:

     *Map work – This is YOUR world, know how to get around!

     *Cultural Relevance – Hurricane in Myanmar?  Where is that?  Time for a

           mission trip….

     *Historical Significance – example – How the building of the Suez and

           Panama Canals impact relations between nations…..

Students will gain an appreciation of the various lands and waters of our world in particular and of the subject of geography in general.
