comfortable clothing (may get dirty). All props, costumes, etc, the students

Overview of class:
This fall we will focus on the art of acting while
storytelling. I am hoping to schedule some off campus storytelling opportunities
(ie: Barnes and Nobel, Linebaugh Library, etc.). In the spring we will learn how
to perform monologues, comedy duets, and ensemble.
Prerequisites for this class: None. Beginners and advanced students
will have fun learning together. This class will be different from last year,
as we previously learned theatre organization. This year we will focus on the
actor’s support staff.

Additional comments:
Parents will not need to buy any books; all
scripts and other materials will be made available by the teacher. The students
will learn competition techniques, even though we will not be competing outside
the drama class.
