Overview of class:  A study of Health will be the focus of the first semester.  We will look at the overall health of not only our bodies, but also our minds, our spirit, and our social interactions. We will learn how our bodies work and how to properly maintain them; how to keep a sound mind; how to practice personal safety; administer first aid; prevent disease; avoid drug abuse; and pursue right relationships. God created us for Himself, and we need to take care of the temple He has given us.

The second semester will entail Life Management.  The purpose of this class will be to use God’s word to help guide students in some of life’s major issues. These include relationships with friends and family; first aid and CPR; sex, abstinence, and STDs; drugs and alcohol; self defense; and safe driving techniques. The primary design of the class will be built around open discussion along with well-renowned guest speakers and videos. An added benefit is that all students will get certified in CPR.
