With this tuition rate, I must have a minimum of  5 and maximum of 10  students.   

Overview of class:  College Prep course that includes formal proofs.  Begins with a presentation of set theory, definitions and theorems.  The text provides carefully sequenced homework exercises, numerous worked-out examples, a consistent review of previously taught concepts, and biblical relevance.  This course also includes an introduction to Trigonometry.  The memorization of theorems and formulas is essential.  Logical thinking is a plus.

Prerequisites for this class:  Algebra I at RTA with a grade of "C" or better, (“A” or “B” preferred) or must pass a pre-test

Class is recommended for students in grades:  10-12

Average study time for this class will be  5-10 hours per week.

Additional comments:   Because this is a very fast-paced class, students will need additional tutoring outside of class time.  It is the responsibility of the parent to supply that help for the student.  If they cannot provide this help themselves, they must find someone who can!!   (Parents are always welcome in the class to help them so they can answer their student’s questions during the week.)

I am available for additional tutoring for $20 per hour.
