Overview of class: 

·      An introduction to the subject of Physics.

·      An understanding of our world through physics that will provide applications to problems and challenges in daily life.

·      Laboratory experiments to demonstrate the concepts and theories.

·      Assignments and worksheets to motivate and guide the students and parents in their studies of  physics.

Class is recommended for students in the 11 grade or higher having completed Algebra II

Estimated difficulty level of course for average student: Challenging

Average study time for this course will be approximately 4 hours per week.

Assignment for first week: 

·      Read the Student Notes (pg. i-ii) and Module 1

·      Work the “on Your Own” problems

·      Complete the Study Guide for Module 1
